Minnesota Salsa Fiesta is back with a huge all-star band, pro dancers, late night DJ, visual art, food vendors and more! Past shows at the Cedar Cultural centers attracted crowds of 500+. This June 25th event at Mill City Museum WILL SELL OUT! Doors at 6 p.m. with live music in the Ruin Courtyard at 6:30 p.m. with Charanga Tropical. At 8 p.m. The band expands into La Gran Charanga with special guest and master conga player, Yolanda Rodriguez from Havana, Cuba. La Gran Charanga is a 20-piece band with full horn section, string section, coro singers, and overflowing percussion MN Salsa Fiesta will include Dance showcases with the salsa ensemble Salsa de La Calle and McKnight Dance Fellowship winner Yeniel ‘Chini’ Perez. Free dance lesson with Cuban maestro Rene Thompson. At 10 p.m. the music moves indoors with for an after party with DJ Medicco. Salsa will be spinning with a monster mix of merengue, bachata, timba, and cumbia. Party ends at midnight. Throughout the evening attendees will be able to sample Latino food vendors and beverages. Artist Victor Yepéz will energize the Museum space with vibrant colors and visuals inspired by salsa music and dance.
