Below you'll find a list of Doug's bands, as well as links to their individual websites:
Charanga Tropical: www.charangatropical.com Or on Facebook
Charanga Tropical is a nine-piece salsa orchestra featuring three violins, flute, and a sizzling Latin rhythm section. Minneapolis Star Tribune calls the band “a pick to click” while City Pages describes the group as “a musical delight and a visual spectacle.” The ensemble blends the old with the new to create a sound that is classic yet modern. Music that is rich in harmony and melody, fantastic for listening and superb for dancing.
Seven Steps to Havana: www.sevenstepstohavana.com
Seven Steps was founded in 2005 by saxophonist, flautist, and composer Douglas Little. Seven Steps To Havana is a septet of international talent featuring musicians from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Ethiopia, and America. Their music combines the rhythmic sizzle of salsa with the harmonic richness of jazz. The resulting sounds swim the seas between musical genres- intriguing, entrancing, Latin jazz at it best!

Each an amazing performer, the trio's musicians have played at major festivals and concert venues throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Twin Cities Jazz Workshop: www.tcjazzworkshop.com
Now in its eleventh year, the Twin Cities Jazz Workshop is one of the most established summer music programs in the metro area. Students play their instruments as part of small jazz combos that meet for three hours each day over the course of a one-week session. They receive instruction from a top-notch faculty of jazz professionals whose credits include international tours, numerous CDs, and several major awards. Each workshop session concludes with a Saturday afternoon student concert and live recording at Minnesota’s premier jazz venue, The Dakota Jazz Club on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis.
